The 17th International Youth Conference “European values for the future of the SEE countries” YAK supported by the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe, sponsored by Germany in partnership with the National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility and Friedrich Ebert Foundation- Office Skopje, was organized in Krusevo, North Macedonia from 26-30 September 2019.

The project included at which 58 young motivators from 16 European countries (Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey).

Upon the plenary sessions where the participants were actively involved they proceeded to worked in groups to create policy recommendations for include young people towards the decisions makers in the SEE region. Please click here for reach to the three key policy recommendations as a results from 17th IYC.

The policy recommendations created by the participants were discussed in the Assembly of North Macedonia during the public discussion organized by the National Council for the European integration.  This was a starting point in achieving the conference main aim.
