Youth Alliance – Krusevo is launching a call for trainer for the implementation of the Youth Leaders Training which will take place in Kruševo. The program is designed to build 12 young people’s leadership and cooperation skills, with emphasis on project management, teamwork, empathy, and understanding regional dynamics; and fostering shared commitment to peace and cooperation across the Western Balkans (WB6) region. The activity focuses on building skills in cross-cultural communication, collaborative problem-solving, and project management, while fostering enduring relationships among participants from diverse backgrounds. By the program’s end, these future leaders will be better prepared to initiate projects and partnerships that contribute to a more integrated, peaceful WB6 region.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking experienced trainer with a proven track record in the fields of:

• Non-formal education and experiential learning methods

• Regional cooperation, leadership development, and intercultural dialogue

• Intercultural communication and regional dynamics

• Dialogue facilitation and conflict transformation methodologies

• Systems thinking, solution design, and future-oriented approaches

Key responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive daily agenda, methodology, and learning materials tailored to program objectives;

• Facilitate interactive sessions during the 5-day training in alignment with the agreed schedule;

• Closely collaborate with the project teams;

• Participate in preparatory online coordination prior to the event;

• Submit a final training report after completion of activities, including learning outcomes and recommendations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in facilitation and youth-capacity building, particularly in intercultural or regional contexts;

• Demonstrated expertise in project management, youth leadership training and facilitation of intercultural groups;

• Experience in designing and delivering conflict transformation, peacebuilding, or systemic innovation programs;

• Ability to apply creative, participatory, and highly interactive training methods;

• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and teamwork spirit;

• Working language: English (all daily sessions will be conducted in English);

• Proficiency in WB6 languages is considered an asset.
