Ask the Locals! was a civic project implemented by INTERALIA, Greece, aiming at utilizing small community structure and dynamics for enhancing accessibility and effectiveness of allocation of EU resources. It will be conducted in a period of 18 months starting from August 2015 by 6 civil society organizations, involving 600 participants and volunteers from 4 EU member states & 2 EU candidate states with severe problems with corruption and equal transparency scores: Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and North Macedonia.

Main project objective
Main goal of the project is utilizing the structure and dynamics of small communities for improving the accessibility and effectiveness of EU funds.
Main project activities
Project activities consist of:
- Capacity building activities
- 6 national field research’s
- Documentary film with locals’ regarding the utilization EU funds
- Awareness raising campaign for the local
- Final event – screening of the movie “Poor cousin”
