Overall Objective:
To strengthen the capacities of youth organisations and young people to access, critically analyse, and share information, in order to increase their active participation in decision-making processes and the development of youth policies.

PROJECT LOGIC

IF young people and youth organisations are provided with improved access to relevant information and strengthened skills in critical thinking and media literacy, AND IF they are equipped with tools and platforms to create and share content on youth-related issues, THEN they will become more informed and active participants in democratic and societal processes, contribute to a better understanding of youth issues, and support the development of more inclusive and effective youth policies.

This approach addresses key challenges such as disinformation, limited access to quality information, and low levels of youth participation, contributing to the development of informed, critical, and socially engaged young people.

PLANNED ACTIVITIES

The project foresees an integrated approach combining capacity building, tool development, transnational cooperation, and visibility actions through the following key activities:

1. Project Management and Coordination
Project management activities will include a kick-off meeting, regular online coordination, mid-term and final meetings, ensuring effective implementation, partner coordination, and compliance with Erasmus+ rules and procedures.

2. Capacity Building: Exploring Realities
Local workshops with young people (minimum 60 per country) will be organised to explore their perceptions of youth information and media literacy. In parallel, trainings for youth workers, educators, and journalists will be delivered to strengthen their competencies. A youth information channel will be developed and managed, including videos, podcasts, and written content created by young people with the support of experts.

3. Development and Management of a Youth Information Channel
A youth information channel will be established and operated for a period of 12 months, serving as a practical example of how youth-related information can be created, shared, and communicated to wider audiences, while actively involving young people as content creators.

4. Youth Information to All
An international conference and two study visits will be organised, bringing together stakeholders from the youth, media, and education sectors to exchange practices, share experiences, and strengthen cross-sector cooperation.

5. Communication, Dissemination, and Networking
Communication activities will be implemented to promote the project and its results through media, social networks, and partner platforms, while also fostering networking opportunities and the creation of new partnerships among relevant stakeholders.
